Hello there, the name is Hacques Reird. Well, of course it's not my real name. No parents would give such a hard-to-pronounce-and-meaningless name. I blog Japanese stuff. Oh yeah, if you like Harry Potter, then I'm your girl. If you're curious about the artist of the stuffs I blog, put your mouse over the image and click.

This is me and the dancers. They’re preparing me to dance the ‘Pagar Pengantin’ (Bride’s Fence). The dance symbolizes the bride’s last dance together with her friends, before she got ‘trapped inside the fence’ (means : marriage life).
I CANNOT DANCE! I never learn how to dance Pagar Pengantin, until 15 minutes before the ceremony start, the WO said “You have to dance anyway, go ask one of the dancers to teach you!”
I wanna die… I think I successfully had myself humiliated in front of at least 1600 people… meh…
This is me and my husband at the wedding altar at our Wedding Day, April 1st 2012 :D
The wedding was held in traditional Southern Sumatra style. Southern Sumatra is a province in Indonesia. The root of my father’s family.
The dress code are sky blue, white and gold :D
I break the tradition, actually, because Southern Sumatra costume has never been made in blue. Usually its Red, so my wedding dress was a custom-made only for me. With numerous beads and sequin ^^
